We had the opportunity to work with our clients to bring to life this majestic 5-bedroom home on 1284 sqm of waterfront reserve land in the stunning Murrays Beach estate located in Lake Macquarie.

Our clients had just retired in Sydney and were looking for a life change. While having lunch in the area, they found the land at Murray’s Beach by accident, and instantly knew that this tranquil and peaceful place was the perfect spot to build their retirement home! After noticing some of the custom homes we were building within the estate, they contacted us to discuss their new project. Their initial thoughts were to create a 3 bedroom home, however, after careful planning, our clients realized that if they built a house on the waterfront reserve, their 3 children and 9 grandchildren would visit from Sydney and spend the weekend with them. The Crighton Homes team worked on creating an expanded home design to include a bedroom and ensuite for each of the children, and a bunk room so that all the grandkids could sleep together.
After a few sketch designs, the floorplan was approved, and Community Association Approval was gained soon after. Construction soon commenced on this beautiful custom home and the result exceeded all our clients’ expectations: A custom 2 story home featuring 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, entertainers kitchen with butler’s pantry, open plan living and dining area with an additional living space, study and media room, and a huge rear deck with an outdoor kitchen to celebrate those beautiful water views!
The clients truly loved their incredibly unique Crighton home and the lifestyle that living by the lake’s casual ambience offered them. Unfortunately, health has changed their future, and now they have passed the batten over to the new owners to enjoy this breathtaking home and its lavish lifestyle.
We feel incredibly proud of the finished result of this home and genuinely love helping our clients design and build a home that is completely unique to them. The incredible financial return on our homes is just the icing on the cake.
